Workshop Practitioner, Vamos Theatre
I lead with different levels of deafness, from mild to profoundly deaf with a range of communication approaches such as British Sign Language (BSL), Signed Support English (SSE), spoken English and lip reading too. This is where visual aids, visual language and visual empowerment are strongly conveyed to teach, lead and guide participants in their lives. I taught body language, abilities and expressions; use of facial expressions as part of BSL and so encouraging participants to seek the physical part of expressions and they learnt emotions, poses and movements of the character.

Drama Workshop Facilitator
I deliver all sorts of drama workshops on a variety of themes - I have boxes of old props, hats, scarves and costumes which I love collecting for workshops!
